Freelance Writing Jobshas been online since May 2005 and is one of the premier job leads site on the internet.  Every week day, the site boasts a writing gigs post that details a variety of freelance jobs, ranging from data entry to on site work to blogging gigs to print work.  The leads are pulled from a variety of sources, including craigslist and media bistro, and many clients contact FWJ directly to post. 

The beauty of FWJis that each lead is handpicked.  The site’s team carefully combs other lead boards and weeds out the shady or extremely low paying jobs, presenting readers with the cream of the job crop all in one place.  In many ways they do much of the job search work for you, or at least eliminate the time consuming responsibility of sitting in front of your computer wondering, “Is this gig legit?”

The down side to FWJ is it is extremely popular, and when a job posting gets highlighted on the site it receives an obscene amount of responses.  So the price of having the best options laid out for you is increased competition.
